1.) Zaha signs new deal at Crystal Palace: –
Wilfried Zaha has committed his future to Crystal Palace by signing a new five-year deal at Selhurst Park. Zaha was a target for many Premier League clubs this summer after an impressive display in the recently concluded season but committing his future to his current club is an indication that he is not for sale.
2.) Liverpool face a battle to sign Keita: –
Liverpool will face a stern battle to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita. Reds have been linked with a move for the player but the German club is adamant to hold on to the player and build a squad that could compete in Champions League next season. It is reported that Liverpool have to pay around 55m Euros to get the player.
3.) Zabaleta joins West Ham, Cameron signs a new deal at Stoke: –
Pablo Zabaleta has joined West Ham United after agreeing to a two-year deal at the club. The Argentine right-back left Manchester City at the end of the recently concluded season.
Meanwhile, Geoff Cameron has signed a new three-year deal with Stoke City which will keep him at the club till 2020. The American joined the Potters back in 2013 and is ready to commit long-term for the club.
4.) Aubameyang hand in a transfer request at Dortmund: –
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has handed a transfer request at his current club Borussia Dortmund as he wants to win titles and trophies. Manchester City are reportedly interested in the striker but the Gabon international is a hot prospect for any club in Europe. Dortmund have kept transfer fee around 65-70m Euros for the player.
5.) Rooney almost sure to leave United this summer: –
According to Skysports, Wayne Rooney is expected to leave Manchester United this summer. Rooney is eager to have first-team football and the player has many offers from other Premier League clubs and abroad, predominantly China. The player has indicated that he’d join his boyhood club Everton if the Toffees offer him the price he is currently earning at Old Trafford.
6.) City sign Bernardo Silva from Monaco: –
Manchester City have signed Bernardo Silva from Monaco for a fee around 50m Euros (43m pounds) on a five-year deal. The Portuguese winger was a sensation last season for Monaco and City wasted no time in buying him so early in the summer transfer window.
7.) Watford in advanced talks with Marco Silva: –
Watford and Marco Silva are in advanced talks about becoming their new manager. The agreement between both parties is expected to be done in next 48 hours, Skysports understands.
Watford sacked Mazzarri last month and have since been looking for a new manager, they believe Silva is the best possible solution at the moment in this club.
