1.) Navas, Clichy, Sagna and Caballero will leave Manchester City: –

Jesus Navas, Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Willy Caballero are all due to leave Manchester City once their contracts come to an end this summer. Navas signed a four-year deal when he arrived from Sevilla back in 2013, while Caballero had a three-year deal when he signed from Malaga in 2013.

Clichy, on the other hand, joined from Arsenal in 2011 and was part of two title-winning seasons under Mancini and Pellegrini. Sagna also arrived from Arsenal in 2014 and had been part of a league cup success in 2016 under Pellegrini.

2.) Rooney’s decision almost done: –

Wayne Rooney has revealed that he has almost taken his decision regarding his future and will take two-three weeks to finalise it. When asked about the decision, the Manchester United player said: “I’ll take my decision with family while I am away”.

3.) Garry Monk resigns as Leeds United manager: –

Garry Monk has resigned as Leeds manager as he didn’t feel the club had any intention of keeping him long-term. Monk was involved in contract talks with new owner Andrea Radrizzani who signalled his intention to make a 12-month extension.

But, according to SkySports, during those ongoing discussions, 37-year old Monk realised that Leeds had no intention of increasing the contract beyond those 12 months and so the manager resigned.

4.) United targeting Keane, Van Dijk and Lindelof as centre-back options: –

Manchester United are planning to sign a centre-back this season with doubts over future of Smalling and Jones. There are three possible targets for Jose Mourinho to choose from – Burnley’s Michael Keane, Southampton’s Virgil Van Dijk and Benfica’s Victor Lindelof.

Lindelof was close to signing for United in January and is valued around 40m pounds. While Southampton have kept a hefty 50m pounds price tag for Virgil Van Dijk. United sold Michael Keane two-and-half years ago for 2m pounds but Burnley now has increased his tag to around 25m.

5.) Ziganda replaces Valverde for Atletic Bilbao job: –

Atletic Bilbao have named Jose Angel Ziganda as their new manager days after the departure of Barcelona linked Ernesto Valverde.

Valverde was in charge of the club for four seasons but now is tipped to replace Luis Enrique at Barcelona from next season.

6.) Norwich appoints Farke as their new manager: –

Norwich have appointed Daniel Farke as their new manager on a two-year deal. Farke joins from Borussia Dortmund II with Edmund Riemer, who will take the role of assistant head coach of the club.

7.) Barkley’s contract negotiations breakdown: –

Everton will consider offers for Ross Barkley after failing to negotiate a new deal with the player. According to Daily Mirror, Barkley wanted 100,000 pounds a week which would have made him the club’s highest-paid player. But negotiations have broken down and the club will listen to offers with Tottenham and Manchester United interested in the player. The price tag is around 50m pounds for the Everton man.
