1.) Allardyce quits as Crystal Palace manager:-

Sam Allardyce has resigned as the manager of Crystal Palace late in the day today. The 62-year old told Palace owner Steve Parish that he wouldn’t continue managing the club and want time off football. He signed a two-and-half-deal when he joined in December last year.

2.) Defoe agrees to move to Bournemouth:-

Jermaine Defoe has agreed to join Premier League club AFC Bournemouth from relegated Sunderland on a free transfer. The striker’s Sunderland contract had a clause which would allow him to leave if the club is relegated. According to Sky Sports, Defoe has agreed on a three-year deal with a wage of 65,000-a-week.

3.) Youri Tielemans rejects City and moves to Monaco:-

The 20-year old Belgian international Youri Tielemans has rejected a chance to join Manchester City and will undergo medical at Monaco later this week. He has been linked with a move to Manchester United as well. The young and exciting midfielder has scored 13 goals in 37 matches this past season.

4.) Koke signs a new seven-year deal at Atletico Madrid:-

Atletico Madrid and Spanish midfielder Koke has signed a new seven-year deal at the club which will keep him in Madrid until 2024. He already had two years left in his contract but this extension assures his club of long-term service.

5.) Griezmann ready to move away from Atletico in order to ‘win titles’:-

Antoine Griezmann has told he is ready to leave Atletico Madrid in order to win titles in top level clubs. The French striker is a Manchester United target for this summer and the player told French TV that there is ‘six out of ten’ chance he could move to Old Trafford.

6.) Valverde won’t continue as Atletic Bilbao manager with Barcelona links around:-

Ernesto Valverde will not continue as Atletic Bilbao boss, the club confirms today. The 53-year old is being linked to succeed Luis Enrique at Barcelona. The Catalan club will make their decision on this manager issue after cup final, probably by 29th May.
